Alright so last night, Boys Soccer were on the road to Monroe falling to them 7-0.

Girls Soccer took on Colerain at home, the game ending in a 3-1 loss for the brave.

Tennis faced Madison beating them on their own Senior Night 3-2. Great work ladies.

Tonight, Our Volleyball team will be at home at 7pm taking on Sycamore.

Boys Soccer wil face Ross tonight also at home. JV at 5 and Varsity at 7

Finally, JV Girls soccer will be on the road to Mt Healthy.

Here’s Addi with some sports updates. What’s happening in the world of THS sports, Addi?m
Addi:
Over the weekend we had a couple of things going on.

On friday our football team recorded their first win of the season against Dayton Carroll, congratulations and good work boys. Point contributions by Cale Leitch , Meech Morris-Williams, Lance Cantrell, and Nico Motta. On another note, our QB 1 is up for player of the week, so if you get a chance go vote Cale Leitch. You can vote every hour.

On Saturday, Volleyball was on the road to ross overcoming them 3-1.

The Cross Country team attended the Eaton Invitational. Both the boys and girls placed third overall. Four of our runners finished in the top 5. Lucia Rodbro and Adrianna Luking took the first and second place spots for the girls. Max Bixler finished second and Bryson Fears finished 4th for the boys.

Tonight, Boys soccer will be on the road to Monroe, Jv at 5 and Varsity at 7

Girls soccer will be at home tonight taking on Colerain Jv at 5 and Varsity at 7

Finally, Girls Golf will also take on Colerain at 4p.

Boys soccer took on harrison, falling to them 5-0

In a hard fought battle, our volleyball team fell to Harrison in __ close scoring sets.

Tennis was on the road to Fairfield overcoming them 3-2. Wins posted by Abbie Curry, Layla Fritzsche, Alyssa Hornsby, Catherine Moul, and Emma Lake.

Finally, Boys Golf took on Harrison in their final conference match of the season beating them 163-164 and claiming the title of SWOC champs, impressive scores from the entire team. Congratulations and good work boys.

Another Friday, Another FNL. Our Football team will be on the road to Dayton Carroll tonight, If you’re making the trip to support our team, the game will start at 7 and the theme is frat out.

Tomorrow, Cross Country will be heading to Eaton to partake in the Eaton Invitational.
Girls Soccer will be on the road to princeton, JV at 1 and Varsity at 3

And Volleyball is heading over to ross, game starting at 1:15

Alright so it looks like JV tennis hit the court last night defeating colerain with a score of 5-0, Winners for talawanda were: Emily Depremont, Kyle Hackney, Alaina Meyer, Krupa Patel, Savannah Tepker, Katie Conger, and Linnaea Wright-Meyer

Tonight is what we have all been waiting for, Volleyball will have a conference match at home against Harrison at 7pm and it is also Dig for the Cure in which there will be a split the pot, silent auctions, and raffles so throw on some pink clothes and come with full pockets, all proceeds will be given to the Luna Cares Fund. If you can’t make it out, you can find the game being streamed live right here on channel 85.

Boys soccer will be right outside on the field also facing Harrison Jv at 5 Varsity at 7

Boys Golf will also be facing harrison tonight at Miami Whitewater. Look out wildcats.

Finally tennis will be on the road to Fairfield.

Tennis faced Northwest overcoming them 4-1 adding the first conference win to their record.

Volleyball continued their winning streak beating Eaton in __ sets. Great work ladies, can’t wait to see y’all back on the court tomorrow.

Looks like everyone needs some recovery after all of the chaos of last night, because there are no sports happening today. But all of our athletes will be back in action tomorrow so tune back in for that.

Addi: Last night Boys soccer fell to CHCA that game ending with a final score of 7-2 Goals scored by Harrison Zhang and Dimitri garrett

Boys golf shot a killer match beating Hamilton 171 to 146 Aidan Bruder and Ty Huber both shooting an impressive 32 for the night.

We have quite the busy night here at THS so let’s talk about it. You have all heard about our undefeated volleyball team. And as we mentioned, they hope to continue that streak tonight against Eaton. JV at 530 and Varsity at 630. The theme for that game is neon out.

Another big match will take place right here tonight as Girls Soccer takes on Harrison in what is essentially the swoc championship. Jv will be at 5 and Varsity at 7.

Finally, tennis will also be at home tonight facing Northwest.

So if you have nothing to do tonight, come out to the highschool to witness all the excitement we have going on.

On Friday, our football team took on Edgewood, the game ending with a loss for the brave, final score of 51-7 touchdown by Cale Leitch.

On saturday, The cross country team attended the Mason Invitational. The girls finished 12th of 19 teams. The boys finished 17th of 29 teams. 3 of our runners placed in the top 20. Lucia Rodbro finished 5th, Max Bixler 11th, and Adrianna Luking in 12th place.

And Girls Soccer was on the road to Wyoming falling to them 5-0.

Not too much going on tonight but Boys soccer will host CHCA at 7pm.

And boys golf will be at Indian Ridge facing hamilton, good luck tonight boys.

The PSAT will be held on October 25th. To register see Ms.Adler in the counselors office.
SIENNA:
Registration will be for sophomores and juniors only. In order to register you will pay a fee of $20, the deadline is next Friday September 18th.
MADALYN:
Thank you to everyone who participated in FCCLA Member Awareness Week.
SIENNA:
Today is Jersey Day, how many people do you think are wearing the highest paid player in NFL history’s jersey today?
MADALYN:
Probably a lot Sienna. If you would like to Travel to Europe next year as a part of a school trip, see the posters hung around the school or pick up a flyer in the main office. You can go to room 611 if you have any questions.
SIENNA:
Students get ready! The week of September 18th will be Club Rush Week at Talawanda.
MADALYN:
Thats right Sienna, you can check out the different clubs and groups at THS during your lunch time, and that Friday will be signing day for any of the clubs you would like to join.
SIENNA:
Speaking of clubs, Diversity club will have their next meeting on September 15th during tutorial in room 400.
MADALYN:
This is an important meeting, so be sure to attend if you are a member.
SIENNA:
There is another important meeting coming up for Juniors and Seniors going to Washington DC. Wednesday, September 13th during tutorial be sure to head to the cafeteria for roommate selection and other important trip details. If you are going on the trip, you MUST attend. Your teachers will have a list of students that need to be there.

Alright so last night girls soccer took on Fenwick, falling to them 3-1, goal was scored by Rylee Eversole.

Volleyball faced Northwest beating them 3-0, great work ladies.

Alright, lets get excited Talawanda because its already Friday which means another FNL. Tonight our football team will take on Edgewood 7pm at home. The theme is jersey out. So put on your best jersey and come out to the tailgate starting at 530.

And I mentioned this yesterday but don’t forget, our concessions will be serving chick-fil-a sandwiches and nuggets tonight, and if that hasn’t convinced you, then I don’t know what to say.

Well last night the volleyball team continued their winning streak beating Edgewood in 3 quick sets.

Tonight, our volleyball team will be on the road to Northwest, game time at 7pm

Girls soccer will face Fenwick tonight at home. JV at 5, varsity at 7.

Boys Golf will also take on Fenwick at 5pm at Wildwood.

Finally, tennis will face Ross tonight at home

And in some sports related news, our concessions will be serving chick-fil-a sandwiches and nuggets at tomorrows football game.

NHS will meet today in Ms. Klovekorn’s room, room 220.
SIENNA:
NHS members should plan on attending as voting for officers will take place during today’s meeting.
MADALYN:
Today is the start of FCCLA Member Awareness Week.
SIENNA:
Yes it is. Hopefully everyone’s having fun dressing as their favorite Adam Sandler character today..
MADALYN:

And now here’s Addi over at the sports desk, what’s going on in the world of sports?
ADDI:
Well if you remember, we had quite the long weekend so there are lots of sports to cover today so let’s get right into it.

On thursday of last week Boys soccer took on mt healthy finishing with a 6-3 win over them. Goals by Nolan Hodgson, Victor Li, Harrison Zhang, Dimitri Garret, and Gabriel Jones.

Volleyball also faced Mt. Healthy overcoming them in 3 sets.

On Friday, our football team was on the road to Eaton falling to them 28-7 touchdown by Kemper Macafee.

The Cross Country team attended the Redhawk Rumble at the Miami university course. Lucia Rodbro and Adrianna Luking finished first and second in the girls race. Coming out 3rd overall. Bryson Fears finished first for the boys, ending with 5th overall for talawanda.

After the small break, sports started back up on tuesday. The soccer program faced Northwest Girls soccer ending with a 2-0 win over them both goals by Jaklyn Wynn. Varsity Boys soccer fell to them 6-1, goal by Stephen Mullally.

Boys golf attended the Beavercreek invitational, Aidan Bruder shooting the 4th lowest score of a 77 the brave finishing second overall.

Finally, Volleyball took on Fairfield last night sweeping them in 3 sets.

That’s the weekend recap, so let’s talk about what we have going on tonight.

Volleyball will take on Edgewood tonight 7pm at home. The theme for that game is PJ out.

And finally Tennis will be on the road to Seven Hills tonight
