ELLIE: Recording live from the THS Newsroom in Oxford, Ohio, this is THS daily news.
WILL: Today is WEDNESDAY, MAY 1st. I’m WILL
ELLIE: and I’m ELLIE. Here’s what’s happening around THS:
WILL: Today marks the end of EoC testing! Congrats on making it through, everyone.
ELLIE: If you missed your testing day, you will be notified of your makeup test in the coming days.
WILL: Moving on, the Setting Stone Coffee House is this Friday, May 3rd, and tickets are on sale now.
ELLIE: That’s right. Tickets are on sale right now in Mr. Aerni’s room, 320, for only $3!
WILL: The performer lineup for the Spring Coffee House is looking great–including performances from seasoned performers like The Revenge of Rage, Tyler Kirkpatrick, and the ever-rocking Locüst!
WIL: There are also some new, exciting acts–including Sumire Foster and Au Revoir, a flute quartet!
WILL: Make sure to get your tickets early, because they go up to $5 at the door the night of the show. We hope to see you all there!
ELLIE: Another cool thing happening is the Talawanda Craft Fair.
WILL: Yes, it is. The Craft Fair will happen on Saturday in the cafeteria from 9 to 4. The cost to get in is $2, and all money raised supports our Volleyball team.
ELLIE: And, looking further ahead, the last days of school are approaching.
WILL: The dates for these days are May 21, 22, and 23.
ELLIE: Keep in mind, these are exam days, and school will let out at 12:30.
WILL: Additionally, Senior T-shirts are available now.
ELLIE: Seniors can pick up their their free senior shirts in Mr. Tincher’s room, room 124.
WILL: Tonight, bands from 7th through 12th will be in concert in the PAC at 7:00. Stop by for some amazing performances.
ELLIE: Also, don’t forget–Chess club is not meeting today, after school. Meetings will resume next week.
WILL: Tomorrow, Robotics club will meet from 3 to 4 in room 412.
ELLIE: And, looking later in the week, Best Buddies will meet during Tutorial on Friday.
WILL: And, that’s all we have for today, Talawanda–so, let’s head over to the Sports Desk to check in with Addi.
SPORTS INTRO: **
ADDI: Last night, tennis took on la salle falling to them 1-4. The sole win was posted by Ryan Hohn

The track team attended the Blue Heaven Invitational. The girls team finished 5th overall while the boys finished 9th. Placers were Nolan Hodgson in Pole vault, Victor Li in the 3200, Gracie Bower in the 100 Hurdles and Long Jump, Adriana Luking in the 800, Lucia Rodbro in the 1600, Maggie Staton in Pole vault and then the Girls 4×8 team.

That’s all from last night, now for tonight’s events. Boys tennis will be hitting the road heading over to valley view at 4:30

And the softball team will honor their seniors for senior night at home while they face off against Badin. Senior recognition will take place at 4:45 and the game itself will begin at 5
