On Friday night the swim and dive teams hosted Little Miami and Hagerstown, Indiana in a tri-meet.  Both the girls and boys teams swept the meets in convincing fashion.  The scores for the girls Friday were as follows:  Hagerstown 86, Little Miami 97, Talawanda 126.  The scores for the boys were as follows:  Hagerstown 41, Little Miami 101, Talawanda 151.  Some highlights from the meet include Deidre Payne dropping 6 seconds in her 200 IM, Mary Kate Huddleston dropping 4 seconds in both her 200 IM and 500 Free, and Zeke Groom dropping 5 seconds in his 200 Free and 11 seconds in his 500 Free to get under 6 minutes.  Another highlight included Maren Patterson beating the 2 time SWOC 100 Breaststroke champion.  To wrap up the highlights there were also a number of firsts.  Julia Caudill completed the 100 Fly and 100 Back for the first time this year, which is significant because for the second year in a row she has now swum every event in the high school meet program at least once during the season, and then Hannah Lightfield completed her first 200 Free, which is quite the feat considering she had never swum before October.  The swim and dive teams will next be in action this Saturday when they host the SWOC League Championship meet.  Both the boys and girls will be looking to win their 14th consecutive league championship.
