Good Morning Talawanda. Today is Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020

Attentin Voila: Please plan to attend our first meeting of the Semester on Wednesday the 29th right after school in room 118.  It is important that you be there for updates on the Red Cross Service Project.

There will be a drama club informational meeting on Thursday January 23 from 3pm-4pm in the PAC. Anyone who is interested in being apart of the spring musical of “We Will Rock You” should attend. We will talk about auditions, crew, and the upcoming musical plans. If you have any question contact Ms. Hudson.

Attention NHS members:  We will meet at 2:30 on Thursday, January 23 in the upper media center.  See you then!

Senior pictures need to be emailed to Mr. Zimmerman as soon as possible for the yearbook.

Now for some Academic Challenge

Attention: any 9th-12th grade girl interested in playing softball this year, there is a mandatory meeting and uniform fitting on Thursday, January 23rd immediately after school. We will meet in the cafeteria before heading into the locker room for fittings. Any player planning to play that cannot make the meeting should let Coach Davie know before Thursday. 

Now for today’s birthdays, Kyleen Carver turns 15 and Ciara Hacker turns 17.

Lists are now posted outside the guidance office of those students who have qualified for the 2nd quarter honor roll recognition.  It will be Thursday, January 23.

Class officers need to meet in Ms Mann’s room today at 1:40 for a short meeting. Also, class officers please check your Talawanda email.

And now for What’s the T and Luke WP

The girls bowling team fell to Edgewood last night by a score of 1820-1156 they fall to 0-13 on the season.

The boys bowling team defeated the Mount Healthy Owls 2487-1809 they improve to 7-7 overall and 3-5 in the conference.

Both bowling teams will host Ross on Thursday.

The boys basketball team fell to Little Miami 41-40 was the final last night Jonathan Richter had 20 points for the Brave. They fall to 1-6 in the conference and 3-11 overall. They have a week off and will host Valley View next Tuesday.

Home games for today: the wrestling team will have their senior night action will begin at 5 o’clock in the gym tonight.
