Talawanda High School has partnered with Torch Prep, an innovative test prep program, to offer our students a practice ACT test. This test will be given on December 3 from 8AM- 12PM at the THS cafeteria. Cost is $10. The registration deadline is November 25,2022.
Fccla did a great job at the veterans day assembly and breakfast honoring those who served in the military. There is another organization down the 600 hallway that also does great things at talawanda. We sent Hailey Schutte to investigate.

The academic challenge team started off their season with a strong showing on Saturday at the 27th annual Tippecanoe tournament. The team of Ellie Radlinski, Kai Brown, Ben Zazycki and Julian Danoff went 5-3 to finish in 7th place out of 24 teams.

Tuesday is Election Day not just in Ohio, but nationwide. Many important issues are on the ballot, and it is important that as young adults all of us understand how crucial our right to vote is in our democracy. But how do you vote? What do you vote on? How do you stay informed? Some social studies classes at THS will be participating in ‘Kids Vote’ as a way to educate students about elections, and Julio Fuentes has prepared this report on the topic.

Cross Country was at the Regional Championships in Troy over the weekend, Max Bixler placed 61st out of 138 runners as the lone boys representative, for the girls, the team finished 14th out of 26 schools led by Lucia Rodbro who placed 25th overall. Unfortunately none of these placements would send any of our athletes to states. Congrats on a successful season to all our runners.
