Lacrosse Fell to CHCA 15-3 on Senior Night, Josh Ward scored his first goal, senior Tyler Hazelwood with the assist.

Baseball defeated Ross 4-1 last night, Noah Prewitt went the distance throwing a 3 hit complete game, the boys face Ross again on the road on Friday.

Softball took out Badin 9-0, Kylie Cobb hit a home run and Shelby Knott tallied 3 hits in the win, the ladies host Ross at 5 o’clock later today.

No other home games today but Tennis is at the SWOC tournament.

Lacrosse came from behind and took out Wilmington 9-8 on Monday, Newly Committed Johnathan Hall had 4 goals and Tristan Tincher had his first in the win, the boys have Senior Night tonight when they play CHCA, it starts at 5:45.

Girls won the Blue Heaven Invite in Hamilton last night. They were led by 1st place finishers Kaydence Morris, Haley O’Brien, Olivia Andrews, Shemari Green, Lucia Rodbro, and Adriana Luking. While the boys finished third and were led by 1st place finishers Henry Hoblitzell, Bryson Fears, and the 4×800 team of Max Bixler, Jacob Farmer, Garrison Franks, and Jesse Troy. Next time you’ll see track will be at the SWOC Championships next Tuesday.

Softball fell to Harrison in a wild game last night that saw Harrison score 6 runs in the sixth inning, 11-6 was the final. Halee McDade led the offense with a home run and 4 batted in, the ladies head to Badin tonight.

Baseball is hosting Ross tonight at 5pm and Tennis heads to Middletown.

Now for Schutte’s Sports Corner.

The Varsity baseball team dropped their series finale against Edgewood 7 – 3. They will be at Ross today pending dry conditions.

Lacrosse lost to Oakwood over the weekend 10-17. They will play tonight at home vs Wilmington.

The track team finished the Wayne invitational on a high note with notable performances from Julio Fuentes in the 110 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles, Hailey O’Brien broke the school record in the High Jump that was previously held by Ms. Green, Henry Hoblitzell placed 2nd in the Pole Vault tying his own school record, and Lucia Rodbro placed 2nd the 3200 meter. Great job to all our Track athletes! They will be away at Hamilton Tuesday and with the SWOC meet on the horizon for next week.

Tennis Lost to Ross yesterday 5-0, they play Colerain at 4.

Over at the track meet in Wayne a couple school records were set, Haley O’Brien’s high jump of 5’6’’ is good for a tie for first in the state, and she passes Val Green’s school record of 5’4”. And the Girls distance Medley Relay of Clara Cradduck, Ellery Duvall. Adriana Luking, and Lucia Rodbro broke the school record by 21 seconds. The meet continues into tonight.

Softball is on the road for a game against Harrison at 5 and Baseball is here at home, facing Edgewood at 5 looking to win the series.

Best Buddies friendship walk was last Saturday, here’s a recap of the event…

Congratulations to the NHS Volleyball Tournament Champions: Myah Keene, Rose Bothast-Revalee, Callie McCullough, Shelby Chidester, & McKenna Johnson. There were so many amazing games–thanks to all the students who played and to all the NHS members who made the night a huge success. Ms. Alfonsi would like to give Craig Catania a huge shoutout for keeping everything running smoothly all night.

Baseball lost game 2 of their series against Edgewood, 10-4, errors were the story of the game, there were 6 combined between the teams. The boys look to win the series Friday night at home.

Softball dominated Seton last night winning 14-1, Kylie Cobb, Halee McDade, and McKenna Weekley all tallied home runs and the girls head to Harrison for a SWOC match on Friday.

No home games today but Tennis is on the road to Ross and Track and Field will be competing at Wayne and Ross today and tomorrow.

Lacrosse fell to Seven Hills 9-4 at home last night, they’ll head to Oak Hills on Saturday.

Baseball walked off Edgewood after blowing a late 5-1 lead, Nate Iden tallied the winning hit in the 6-5 Victory, the boys improve to 8-2 in the SWOC and play game two of the series on Wednesday.

Softball was at Edgewood yesterday, they handled them 9-5, 4 ladies had multi-hit performances and they’ll be on the road at Carlisle tonight.

Softball and Tennis are on the road tonight as Tennis heads to Mariemont.

Baseball fell to Harrison 8-1 and drop the series 2-1, Max Mesler and Noah Prewitt both had Extra Base hits in the loss, the boys drop to 10-6 overall, 7-2 in the SWOC, they’ll be at home tomorrow vs Middletown in a matinee.

Softball shutout Mt. Healthy 15-0 winning their 14th game of the season, McKenna Weekley went 2 for 3 with a home run and 4 runs batted in, the ladies have a double header tomorrow at Miami East

Tennis took the win over Northwest 3-2, the boys move to 3-7 overall and 1-1 in SWOC play, they head to Seven Hills tonight.

The Track Team heads to Eaton tomorrow for the Eaton Invite.

Baseball defeated Harrison 4-1 in game two of this mid week series, Eddie Tanner had two doubles and one RBI while Nathaniel Iden went 5 innings of one run ball, the boys are hosting Harrison for the series finale tonight at 5, make sure to show up and support the fellas for this big game.

Softball took care of business against Ross, defeating the Rams 9-3, Lilly Iden and Halee McDade both hit home runs while McKenna Weekley went the distance with 8 strikeouts, the ladies improve to 13-6 and head to Mt. Healthy after school today.

Tennis fell to Elder 3-2 after their win on Tuesday vs Taylor, the boys host Northwest at 4.

Make sure to vote for Nate Iden, Henry Hoblitzell, and Lucia Rodbro on Cincinnati Enquirer for Athlete of the Week, voting ends Friday afternoon.

Baseball fell to Harrison in a back and forth contest 9-7, Max Mesler drove in two of the Brave runs while Noah Prewitt pitched 5 innings allowing only 1 earned run, the boys head to Harrison tonight for game two of the series.

Softball also lost to Harrison, 11-3 the final McKenna Weekley went 3 for 4 while pitching 3 innings, the ladies host Ross tonight at 5.

Lacrosse lost to Madeira 13-5, and fall to 1-9 on the season, their next game will be at home vs Seven Hills on Monday.

Track and Field was at home yesterday the girls finished first and the boys placed third. Max Bixler, Lucia Rodbro, Henry Hoblitzell, Julio Fuentes, and Olivia Andrews all broke meet records while over 30 PR’s were collected.
