Good morning, Talawanda! Today is Monday October 8th, 2018

Attention new NHS Members:  We will meet today at 2:30 in the upper Media Center.  See you there!

Thank you to all who made PRIDE Day a huge success.  Sophomores, your participation was outstanding.  If anyone left a sweatshirt or jacket in the auxiliary gym, see Mrs. Peter.

Purdue University is offering a program called Seniors Exploring Engineering on Monday, October 15th.  The program is geared towards young women in their senior year who are trying to determine if engineering at Purdue University is a good fit for them.  Students will explore their choice of two engineering disciplines, obtain knowledge regarding the first-year engineering program, admissions, student life, and engineering in the “real world.”  Campus tours are offered with an opportunity to meet with Purdue professors, current engineering students, and some awesome women alumni.  You should register early at www.purdue.edu/WIEP

Anyone interested in being part of the Chick-Fil-A leader academy please plan on attending the kick-off meeting Wednesday after-school in room 611.  Please see or email Mrs Gregory if you have any questions.

Any 9th-12th grade girl interested in playing softball this spring, there will be a 15 min meeting in the cafeteria immediately after school on Tuesday, October 9th.  If you cannot make it, please see Coach Davie in Guidance before Tuesday’s meeting.

Reminder that there will be Braves for the Cure shirts for $12, and bracelets for $1.  They will be for sale during lunches and in Mrs. Gregory’s room all week.  The pink out football game is on October 12th, so make sure to purchase your shirt to support the braves, and help raise money for the side out foundation, and Luna cares.
