Good morning, Talawanda! Today is Tuesday October 9th, 2018

Any students registered to take the PSAT tomorrow should have received a reminder in their first period today.  Please report to the auxiliary gym as soon as you are called down tomorrow morning.  Bring pencils and an approved calculator.  You will be allowed to have a snack during one of the breaks as well, so bring one!  See you bright and early!

Freshmen:  Continue to sell candles to relatives, friends, and teachers.  The next 3 students to turn in order forms will receive a goody bag of $5 worth of candy!  Our sale ends October 15th, so start bringing in those orders!

Best Buddies members:  we will meet right after school TODAY for our October chapter meeting.  Come for as long as you can.  We will have snacks, play a game, and talk about upcoming event!

Model UN members, the next meeting will be Friday, October 19th right after school in Mrs. Lefevers room. Please check your school emails for a message from club president Jenny Lee and vice president Benjamin Farmer in regards to forms and deposits.  If you cannot attend this meeting please inform them as soon as possible.

Purdue University is offering a program called Seniors Exploring Engineering on Monday, October 15th.  The program is geared towards young women in their senior year who are trying to determine if engineering at Purdue University is a good fit for them.  If you want to register, sign up early at www.purdue.edu/WIEP

Anyone interested in being part of the Chick-Fil-A leader academy please plan on attending the kick-off meeting Wednesday after-school in room 611.  Please see or email Mrs Gregory if you have any questions.

Any 9th-12th grade girl interested in playing softball this spring, there will be a 15 min meeting in the cafeteria today immediately after school.  If you cannot make it, please see Coach Davie in Guidance before Tuesday’s meeting.

Reminder that there will be Braves for the Cure shirts for $12, and bracelets for $1.  They will be for sale during lunches and in Mrs. Gregory’s room all week.  The pink out football game is on October 12th, so make sure to purchase your shirt to support the braves, and help raise money for the side out foundation, and Luna cares.

Birthdays for today:  Samariah Webb turns 15, Kevin Thomas turns 17, and Celeste Swango turns 19.
