Talawanda Tribune: There will be NO meeting after school on Tuesday, Sept. 17 because Waxy and the editors will be on a field trip.

Torch Prep is offering a Practice ACT test for Talawanda students here on Saturday, November 16 from 10am-2pm in the cafeteria.  Students can sign up for this free opportunity by going to www.torchprep.com.  See your counselor if you have any questions!

THS Baseball Players who volunteered for Trail Clearing need to meet in the student parking lot by the baseball field by 9AM Saturday, September 14. Please wear long pants and safe shoes. If possible, bring non-motorized hand tools like loppers and make sure you have your liability form with you or you won’t be able to participate.

Attention second-year senior NHS members: please meet in Ms. Alfonsi’s room on Tuesday, September 17, right after school.

In boy’s varsity golf action last night, the Brave defeated Ross 159-168, to remain undefeated in the SWOC.  Charlie Faler and Dylan Slager shared low round honors with a round of 39 each.  With the regular season conference matches completed, the Brave will play 3 matches next week against non-conference opponents to ready themselves for the SWOC Tournament on Tuesday the 24th. 

The girls soccer team defeated Northwest yesterday by a score of 5-1 Ainsley Clark and Kyra Koontz had 2 goals apiece in that on they improve to 2-0-2 in the SWOC and their next game is next Tuesday at home versus Ross.

The boys soccer team fell to Northwest by a 4-1 score Logan Kent had the goal for the Brave they fall to 1-5-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the conference. Their next game is Saturday at home versus Union County Indiana.

And the livestream for the girls volleyball team was a success as they defeated Northwest in 4 sets live on BraveTV last night they improve to 3-8 on the year and 2-3 in the SWOC, their next match is Monday at Princeton.

Home games for today: None, but the football team heads to Eaton tonight to take on the Eagles and look to improve to their first 3-0 record since the 1990s, they are led by Terrell Wills and Deondre Bothast-Revalee who are 4th and 7th respectively in the SWOC in rushing yards. That game is at Eaton and is a Hawaiian out so let’s pack the stands tonight and show the Eagles how well we travel.
