There will be a baseball meeting for 9-12 graders interested in playing baseball this spring in the cafeteria at 2:25 today.  The meeting will be 10 minutes long.

Last night at the Board of Education meeting, the school board voted 3-2 to change the name of our mascot from Braves to Brave.  The move was in response to a committee that was formed to investigate the negative effects of native american iconography in schools today.  This doesn’t mean sudden changes at Talawanda, but over the next few years, the school will move away from the Braves moniker with the purchase of new uniforms and alteration of the school grounds.  Please be respectful of this change, even if you don’t agree with it – we all go to Talawanda High School together.

That’s our broadcast on this Tuesday.  I’m Patrick Geshan.  Thank you so much for watching — and have a great day.
