MARLEY: Today is FRIDAY, February 9th. I’m MARLEY
GRACIE: and I’m GRACIE. Here’s what’s happening around THS:
MARLEY: Chess club will kick off its first meeting today, after school until 3:45 in room 603
GRACIE: Additionally, FCCLA spirit week will be taking place next week. Starting off with Monday, which will be 80’s day, so wear your neon!
MARLEY: Tuesday will be college apparel day
GRACIE: Wednesday is pink day
MARLEY: And Thursday be sure to wear your red and white for FCCLA
GRACIE: Well, I think that’s it for what’s happening around THS. Next up is a video with THS Daily News correspondent and anchor, Alexa, talking with new Board of Education member, Dawn King, about her new position on the school board.

MARLEY: Thanks for that, Alexa. Hey, Gracie–what would you do if you were on the school board?
GRACIE: I think I’d bring recess to the high school. What about you?
MARLEY: That’s actually a great idea. Maybe bring back gym tutorials like we had in middle school I don’t know. I’ll leave those decisions to the professionals.. ….That’s all for now, so let’s dive into sports with Addi

ADDI: Last night the wrestling team competed in a tri-meet with Badin and Hamilton at Hamilton High School. While the team struggled some with Badin, by the time they faced Hamilton, they were warmed up and ready to go, defeating Hamilton 51 to 28. Notable wins came from Colton Back, Thomas Harper, Will Tanner, Henry Longcamp, and Ashton Shea. Nice work, guys.

Lots to talk about for this weekend so let’s get into it.

Tonight boys swimming will be participating in sectionals at St. X high school

 

And we have lots going on tomorrow starting with wrestling who will be attending a tri-meet at Goshen with Goshen and Kings.

Also tomorrow Boys Basketball will be making their way over to Reading High school that game is to begin at 730

And Finally girls basketball will also be on the road, heading to Goshen High school at 630
