Attention NHS seniors: We’ll meet after school next Tuesday, August 30th, in Ms. Alfonsi’s room.  Please see our Google Classroom for details if you have to miss the meeting.

Class officer applications are available in room 319 with Ms Mann! Stop in to get yours today! Due date is Friday, Aug 26.

Interested in art? writing? music? graphic design? Then, Setting Stone might be for you! Setting Stone is a club at Talawanda that develops and designs its own literary-art magazine using work from Talawanda students, and also hosts a live-music event called the Coffee House three times a year. If you are interested in being a part of this group, we would love to have you join us for our first meeting of the year. We will meet on Monday, August 29th—right after school in Mr. Aerni’s room—#320. 

The Talawanda Youth Initiative Team (or YIT) will be having its first meeting today after school in the media center.  If you are interested in growing your leadership skills, planning fun events, and encouraging THS students to make healthy and safe choices, this could be for you!  Contact Mrs. Macechko with questions.

The girls soccer team had a big win over Princeton last night 4-1, Mckenzie Hanson led the way to victory with 2 goals as the girls move to 1 and 1 on the season, their next action will be on the road at Colerain.

Also taking a dominant win was girls tennis who records back to back shutouts taking out Monroe this time 5 to 0. The team improves to 3 and 3 on the year and will have their first conference matchup on Thursday.

Two home games for today as the volleyball team hosts Eaton at 7, it will be a neon out, and the girls golf team will take on Edgewood at the country club, that starting at 4.
