Interested in art? writing? music? graphic design? Then, Setting Stone might be for you! Setting Stone is a club at Talawanda that develops and designs its own literary-art magazine using work from Talawanda students, and also hosts a live-music events called the Coffee House three times a year. If you are interested in being a part of this group, we would love to have you join us for our first meeting of the year. We will meet on Monday, August 29th–right after school in Mr. Aerni’s room–#320. 

Homecoming court representative applications are available with Ms Mann or Mrs Sammons. Due date to apply is August 31

The Talawanda Youth Initiative Team (or YIT) will be having its first meeting on Wednesday, 8/24 after school in the media center.  If you are interested in growing your leadership skills, planning fun events, and encouraging THS students to make healthy and safe choices, this could be for you!  Contact Mrs. Macechko with questions.

Talawanda’s newspaper club The Talawanda Tribune needs you!  Come to our first meeting after school on Tuesday, August 23.

The football team fell to Monroe Friday night 35-16, Hayden Marcum’s 87 receiving yards and Logan Kent’s 42 yard field goal highlight the loss as the team is back in action at home this Friday for a USA out against Reading.

The soccer teams both took defeats to Taylor getting shutout in both games, the boys 6-0, the girls 2-0, they will look to get back on track as they have games later in the week.

Field Hockey lost to Lancaster 7-0, but the first win of the year comes from the Volleyball team as they beat Colerain in 4 sets. The girls will head to Valley View looking to improve to 2-0 on the young year.

Two home games today as the girls tennis team takes on Hamilton at 4:00pm while Boys Golf hosts Badin at Hueston Woods at the same time.
