If you’re interested in playing lacrosse this spring, please see coach Johnson.  Lacrosse is lifting on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with the football team after school.  Attendance is expected!

Girls Soccer will be working out in the field house on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30.  If you have any questions please contact Julia Rode or Kelsey Sams.  Let’s kick it!

There will be a Best Buddies meeting on Thursday after school until 3:30 in Mrs. Sammons room.

Diversity Club is meeting Wednesday right after school in Ms. Morris’s room.  We will be planning our valentine’s day activities.

The boys basketball team fell to in a conference matchup on the road with Harrison on Friday 52-42, Logan Smith led the team with 15 points, the boys will look to rebound tomorrow against Edgewood.

The girls basketball team picked up 2 blowout wins over the long weekend, knocking off Edgewood and Ross on Wednesday and Thursday by a combined 43 points, the girls will head to Eaton for some non-conference action tonight.

The boys and girls bowling teams both fell to Northwest on Thursday, the team will now close out their year with their final 4 matches at Oxford Lanes beginning with a bout with Mount Healthy tomorrow.

The hockey team cruised to a road win over Mason in league play on Friday night, the hat trick line of Parker Geshan, Andrew Shrider, and Max Kelly led the Brave offense to an 11-0 victory, the team’s next game will now be on Saturday against the Cincinnati Swords at home after Thursday’s game against Miami was cancelled.

The Ac Chal team picked up 2 easy victories to begin their season against Edgewood, the team will look to continue their dominance over the SWOC this Wednesday as they host Ross.

Friday night the swim & dive teams hosted Edgewood and Bellbrook in a tri-meet.  Both the boys and the girls came away with sweeps.  For the girls Talawanda tallied 154 points, Bellbrook tallied 116 points, and Edgewood tallied 42 points.  For the boys Talawanda tallied 162 points, Bellbrook tallied 94 points, and Edgewood tallied 35.  The girls were led by Mercy Patterson who won both the 100 Fly and 100 Back, Maren Patterson who won the 50 Free, and Lucy Wang who won the 100 Breast.  The boys were led by Noah Femiani who won the 50 Free and 100 Free, Alex Carlson who won the 100 Fly and 100 Back, Jonah Femiani who won the 200 Free, Stephen Mullally who won the 200 IM, and Zeke Groom who won the 100 Breast.  Stay tuned for an update tomorrow on how the teams performed at their meet on Saturday.

Congrats to Sawyer Johnson who has been named the new lacrosse coach here at THS, good luck to him and the team this spring, also congrats to senior Madie Patton who committed to continue her softball career at Miami University yesterday.
