Tickets for the May 7th Setting Stone Coffee House are on sale now! The Coffee House will be on Friday, May 7th in the courtyard outside the cafeteria, and feature performances from THS students! Tickets are limited, so pick one up today! Stop by Mr. Aerni’s room (320) to grab yours for $3. Any remaining tickets will be on sale at the gate for $5.

The 2021 Prom will be May 1 from 7:00-11:00 pm here at THS. Tickets are $20 and purchasing information will be sent to you via email. All current Juniors and Seniors, as well as the class of 2020, are invited to attend the prom. The prom theme is “City of Stars”. Please dress accordingly for the elements and a concrete dance floor. See Ms Mann if you have any questions! 

All boys interested in playing golf this summer or next fall, please plan to attend an informational meeting immediately after school today in Mr. Cawein’s room (Room 215).  Coach Gloeckner and Coach Cawein will discuss summer practice and playing opportunities as well as the fall golf season.

On behalf of Best Buddies and National Honor Society, Mrs. Sammons and Ms. Alfonsi would like to thank everyone who participated in Tuesday’s Friendship Walk.  A special thanks to Mr. Marston and the Steel Band, Mr. Zimmerman and the Digital Productions students, the Special Education Department, and Ms. Metzger and Mr. and Mrs. Ruther for their generous donations. We all had a great time!

Seniors, graduation is fast approaching! If you intend to participate in graduation please make sure you have ordered your Cap and Gown by May 1st. You can go to Jostens.com to place your order. Cap and Gown orders will be handed out to Face-to-Face students on May 7th, for Online Learners they will be available for pick up in the main office the week of May 10th from 7:30am to 3pm.

Now an update on baseball and softball followed by sports with Luke West Poley

The baseball team fell on the road to Elder on Tuesday night, last night they were scheduled for a doubleheader with Mount Healthy, Evan “Cheese” “The Fire Hose” Kennel pitched 2 no hit innings before the games were called off due to weather, the Brave are currently leading game 1 3-0 pryor to the bottom of the second.

The softball team dropped 2 games to Beavercreek on Tuesday, 11-8 and 12-2 were the scores they fall to 9-10 on the year and will continue on the road today at Oak Hills.

The tennis team defeated 7 Hills “B” two nights ago 3-2, their match last night at Hamilton was cancelled, they improve to 10-4 on the season and will play next on Monday at Mariemont.

And the lax bros claimed their SWOC championship last night with a dominating 18-2 victory over Edgewood, Brendan Bohon had 4 goals, and Nick Engelhard and Ben Howard added a hat trick each, the lacrosse team will head to La Salle on Monday.
