Men’s Varsity Tennis was victorious yesterday away against Harrison, coming away with a 3-2 win.  The JV tennis team lost 4-1 last night however, with the lone win being posted by sophomore Charles Murray.  The Brave are back in action tonight away against Elder.

The varsity softball team improved their record in the league to 2-0 last night with a 10-3 win against Harrison.  The winning pitcher was McKenna Weekley, player of the game was Sophie Pierce with 3 hits and an RBI.  Lilly Iden, Rachel Dsuban, Katie Jones, Maggie Pierce, Halee McDade, and Jillian Berger all had offensive production for the Brave as well.  This marks the first time the Brave have beat Harrison since joining the SWOC.  Congratulations Ladies.

The JV softball team also came home a winner yesterday, beating Harrison by a score of 11 to 9.  Winning pitcher was Keylee Goerss, and lots of girls had lots of hits in this one too.  Keep in rolling Brave Fastpitch, both Varsity and JV are off to great starts.

The varsity baseball team lost a tough one to Harrison at home last night by a score of 9 to 7 in 9 innings.  The Brave had big lead going into the second half of this contest, only to have the Wildcats roar back in the 7th and send the game into extra innings.

Home games today: It’s GCL day at Talawanda – JV Baseball will take on St. Xavier at 5pm and the Boys varsity Tennis will have Elder at 4.
