Good morning, Talawanda! Today is Friday September 21th, 2018

Reminder to all students grades 9-12, the College Admissions Panel is this coming Tuesday, September 25th at 5:30 in the PAC.

Attention to all girls interested in playing basketball this year:  An open gym will be held this Sunday from 4-5:30 at the middle school.  This is a location change.

If you need a dress for homecoming please see your school counselor.

THS students, Nosebleed will be playing in the THS gym from 11-11:30 Homecoming night immediately following the dance.  We hope you can be there to hear some awesome music!  See Davis Byrd or Ben Nachowitz if you want to buy a Nosebleed shirt.

As for Homecoming activities, the football game is today, and the dance is tomorrow.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Mann, Mrs. Sammons, or any football coaches.

And now for some extreme homecoming tips.

Birthdays for today: Lillian Spencer turns 18. Also happy birthday to Mrs. Richter.

And now for world news and Patty G with sports.

There are no scores to report from yesterday because every team participated in the homecoming parade. It was a lot of fun to see everyone there and hope you all had fun. We all know Mr. Pasquale here did.

So the homecoming celebration shifts to the gridiron tonight when our Braves take on Little Miami. It is the first conference game of the year for Talawanda. The Panthers are coming off a 41-0 shutout win of Mount Healthy at home last week. They will march into Talawanda Territory with a 4-0 record. Kickoff is tonight at the field at 7, but be sure to show up early and see the crowning of the homecoming king and queen around 6:40. It is a white out.

And that’s our broadcast on this Friday. I’m Patrick Geshan. Have a safe and fun homecoming weekend. I’ll see you all tonight and tomorrow. Thanks so much for watching, and have a great weekend.
