Good morning Talawanda, today is Wednesday, November 17th, 2021.
Best Buddies members: our November meeting is this Thursday after school in Mrs. Sammons’s room until 3:30pm. We may have a special guest and we will have a fun Thanksgiving craft! New members are always welcome.
The Chili Supper is tonight in the THS Cafeteria! Food service begins at 6:00 pm. The Jazz and Steel Bands will perform starting at 7:00 pm. This is a fun event and we are glad to be holding it again this year. Little kids are welcome. They can dance or run around and it will not be a problem.
Saturday, November 20th, at 1pm in Benton Hall, Miami’s Girls Who Code president will have a 20 minute presentation on experience as a cyber software intern, statistics on women in computer science, and proposed solutions to increase female representation. The Miami Girls Who Code chapter meets weekly on Saturdays from 1pm to 3pm. For more information, email prentoam@miamioh.edu.
And now for Andrew Averbach getting away with things because of the news. If you would like to join the news for next school year, please make sure to fill out an application and speak with your counselor in January.
Talawanda Baseball is looking for enthusiastic and responsible students to announce home varsity baseball games this spring. If you are interested in being a part of the team, please see Coach Lykins for more details!
