March 28th, 2022

Good morning Talawanda, today is Monday, March 28th, 2022.

Attention Mock Trial.  Our party is tonight, Monday, March 28 from 5-7 p.m. in room 417.  Certificates and pins will be given out and pizza will be served.

Seniors, remember that permission slips to help with BRAVE Day are due to Mrs Peter on Tuesday 3/29.

Earlier this year, the 2021-2022 Chapter Officers and Advisors completed and submitted the National FFA Chapter Recognition Application to Ohio FFA for state-level judging. We have completed this application every year and most years have been recognized as a Gold Rated Chapter at the state level- the top rating you can recieve. However, for the first time in over a decade- the chapter was not only recognized as Gold Rated but as a TOP 10 OVERALL chapter in the state this year! This is a HUGE honor as there are 324 chapters in the state!

In addition to being named Top 10 Overall, the chapter was selected as a finalist in 2 of the 3 Premier Chapter Divisions- Growing Leaders and Strengthening Agriculture! This means, the chapter’s activities in 2021 in these 2 categories are considered to be outstanding! Next week, 4 of our members (Anna Abbitt, Emma Puckett, Rachel Dsuban, and Olivia Zaenkert) will complete virtual interviews in hopes of our chapter being named the TOP OHIO FFA CHAPTER in one (or both) of these divisions!

There will be an FCA meeting this Wednesday at 2:20 in the Guidance Conference Room. Anyone is welcome to attend, and we hope you consider joining our chapter to help grow our community and impact our school. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Jacob Farmer, Harrison Cradduck, or Dean Cradduck.
