and here’s what’s happening around Talawanda today and tomorrow.

Voilá will meet today, after school, in Mrs. Lefevers’s room, room 118.
DOM:
Tomorrow there will be a meeting BEFORE school at 7:45 for anyone interested in baseball.
WILL:
The baseball meeting will provide information about the team as well as upcoming fall workouts.
DOM:
Best Buddies will meet during Tutorial tomorrow in Mrs. Sammons room, room 316
WILL:
And, Diversity Club will meet tomorrow, as well, after school, in Mrs. Schultze’s room, room 400.
DOM:
Here’s some news about the upcoming DC trip for juniors and seniors, TOMORROW is the last day to sign up for the trip.
WILL:
Attention Freshmen: Ms. Mann needs your class officer applications.
DOM:
Class officer voting will take place this week, and as of right now, there are no freshman applicants. If you are a freshman who wants to make a difference in and around THS, grab an application outside of room 319 and turn it in today!
WILL:
Looking at next week, NHS will meet on Wednesday, September 6th, in Ms. Klovekorn’s room, room 220.
DOM:
Any senior in NHS should check Classroom for information about officer positions. Voting for officers will take place at the September 6th meeting.
WILL:
Next week is also FCCLA Member Awareness Week.
DOM:
Yes it is. And, did you know as long as you have had one semester of FCS/FCCLA you are able to be a member and participate in all the activities?
WILL:
I did not actually know that.
DOM:
If you would like more information on how to participate, See President Sara Petri or Mrs. Gregory.
WILL:
Doesn’t FCCLA do a spirit week of some kind at the beginning of the year?
DOM:
I’m glad you mentioned that. Next week FCCLA will host “theme days.” It’s a short week, but here’s a quick update from FCCLA president, Sara Petri, about each day’s theme:

Thanks guys, I got a couple updates for you so let’s get right into it.

Girls varsity tennis defeated Taylor last night by a score of 4-1. Wins were posted by Abbie Curry, Julie Page, Layla Fritzsche, Alyssa Hornsby, Catherine Moul, and Emma Lake. That’s a two match winning streak, lets keep it going ladies!!

JV girls soccer overcame Mt. Healthy 2-0, goals by Mia Abbott and Lindsay Huff

Boys soccer faced Badin, Jv falling 2-0 Varsity 9-0.

As for tonight,
Girls golf will face little miami at Oxford Country Club 4pm

Varsity tennis will be on the road to Lebanon and Jv off to monroe
