Students who are interested in taking CCP in the spring please know that applications are due by Nov. 1.  Please see your School Counselor if you have any questions.

Are you a fan of Jeopardy?  Do you like the sound of buzzers?  Do you think you are smarter than John Jacobsen Whinery?  If you answered yes to any of these questions you should join academic challenge.  The first meeting is in room 424 on Tuesday, October 22nd at 2:30.  Any questions,  see Mr. Schmid.

Best Buddies members: our October meeting will be today after school in room 316. We will announce matches, play games, and have snacks. New members are still welcome to join us!

Freshmen: Don’t forget to ask friends, family, and teachers to buy candles for our fundraiser. Anyone who turns in a packet by this Friday will receive the candy goody bag along with an extra treat!

And now for the SWOC champs interviews

Only one birthday today, Trey Herring turns 17. Happy Birthday.

Key Club is raising money for the Thirst Project, a nonprofit organization aimed at helping provide safe drinking water in places where it’s not readily available, as well as help build wells for villagers across Africa.  We will raise this money by selling water themed pins during lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the rest of the month.  The minimum pin is only $1, but feel free to donate more!  Try to get a pin as soon as possible, as we have limited supply.

Attention Setting Stone members: shirt order forms have been posted to Classroom. Please add your name and shirt size–last day to order is this Friday.
