TESSA: Today is MONDAY, April 22nd. I’m TESSA
KATE: and I’m KATE. Here’s what’s happening around THS:
TESSA: CCP Students listen up! Miami CCP Advisors will be here April 30th to meet with CCP students to discuss Miami CCP policies, procedures, and timelines. This meeting is only for students participating in CCP through Miami University. Parent attendance for this meeting is optional. Reach out to your school counselor if you have any questions.
KATE: Now for some news about Coffee House. Tomorrow is the final day to sign up to perform at the Spring Setting Stone Coffee House. Sign up outside of room 320. Tickets for this spring coffee house will go on sale next week.
TESSA: As for club meetings today, the only club gathering is Robotics Club happening after school in room 412.
KATE: Setting Stone is meeting after school tomorrow in room 320.
TESSA: The Mock Trial banquet is happening tonight from 7pm to 9pm.
KATE:  Spring EOC Testing starts up again tomorrow. The EOC’s taking place will be Algebra and Geometry.
TESSA:  Don’t forget–if you are taking a test tomorrow or Wednesday, you will report to school at the normal time.
KATE: That’s right–and, if you aren’t taking one, school will begin at 10:15.
TESSA:  Additionally, Tuesday’s schedule will run period 1, 5, 3, 7
KATE: And Wednesday’s schedule runs 2, 5, 4, 6.
TESSA: That’s it for news today, so let’s drop shot it over to Addi for her approach on sports:
SPORTS INTRO: **
ADDI: Let’s go over everything that happened over the weekend.

Starting with baseball, they had two games over the weekend. On friday, they took on the trailblazers, falling to them 5-2. And on saturday they fell to ross 7-1

Tennis faced off against monroe on Friday overcoming them 3-2

 

Softball took on a double header against Franklin on Saturday, falling to them both games with scores of 11-4 and 5-4.

Finally track attended the Eaton Invitational on saturday. The Girls took 6th place while boys took 9th overall. Athletes who placed were Gracie Bower in 100m hurdles and long jump. Sadie Abbott in the 2000m steeplechase. and Maggie Staton and Nolan Hodgson in pole vault.

As for what we have going on tonight Boys tennis will be hitting the road heading over to elder, their match is to begin at 4:30

And baseball and softball both be taking on northwest at home tonight. Their games will begin at 5
