| SAMMONS: | Today is WEDNESDAY, October 25TH. I’m SAMMONS. . |
| MARLEY: | and I’m MARLEY. Here’s what’s happening around THS. |
| SAMMONS: | Diversity club will meet today, after school, in Mrs. Schultze’s room, room 400. |
| MARLEY: | Additionally, Diversity Club will host a Halloween celebration in room 400 on Friday during tutorial. All are welcome at this event. |
| SAMMONS: | Voila is still collecting socks for its “Socktober” event. They will continue collecting through October 31st, so don’t forget those socks. You can drop new pairs of socks off to Ms. Lefevers in room 118. |
| MARLEY: | Key Club is also taking donations all week long. |
| SAMMONS: | That’s right. Key Club is looking for donations of jars of peanut butter, boxed mac and cheese, and canned tuna. Items should be dropped off to your first period teacher. |
| MARLEY: | Additionally, Key Club’s “Boo-ing” fundraiser is happening all week at lunch. |
| SAMMONS: | Yep–stop by their table at lunch and send a message and piece of candy to a friend. |
| MARLEY: | And, don’t forget about the YIT pickleball bash on Monday. |
| SAMMONS: | The pickleball bash is a friendly, fun tournament, and will be held at the Tri Pickleball courts in Oxford from 4 to 6 on October 30. |
| MARLEY: | Sounds like a blast. You going to play, MRS. SAMMONS? |
| SAMMONS: | I’m not playing, but I might be there to watch. You playing, Marley? |
| MARLEY: | Heck yeah, I am! Can’t wait for it–it’s going to be really fun. |
| SAMMONS: | In other news, the Powderpuff football game will be held on Friday, November 3rd. |
| MARLEY: | Team Registration ends this Friday. So, get your registration in as soon as possible. |
| SAMMONS: | Also happening on November 3rd is the Setting Stone Coffee House. |
| MARLEY: | Tickets for the Coffee House will go on sale on Monday. |
