MADALYN:
Today is FRIDAY, October 20th. I’m Sadie, filling in for Madalyn.
ALEXIS:
and I’m ALEXIS, in for SIENNA today. Here’s what’s happening around THS.
MADALYN:
One last reminder about lost and found items: the main office wants all THS students to know that there is a table in the main entrance breezeway full of lost-and-found items.
ALEXIS:
All items not claimed will be donated. So, make sure to check out that table today.
MADALYN:
Signups for the November 3rd Powderpuff game are happening now. Sign up outside of Mr. Z’s room, room 301. Registration is $15, and all proceeds go to benefit the Best Buddies club.
ALEXIS:
Signups are also underway for the November 3rd Coffee House.
MADALYN:
That’s right. If you are interested in performing at the Coffee House, sign up today outside of Mr. Aerni’s room, room 320 today.
ALEXIS:
And, one more reminder that Key Club is collecting jars of peanut butter, boxed mac and cheese, and canned tuna for the TOPSS food pantry.
MADALYN:
All you need to do to donate is to bring in items to your first-period teacher by October 30th. The class that collects the most items will get cupcakes baked by Ms.Caraballo!
ALEXIS:
Next Tuesday, October 24th, Mrs. Gregory and FCCLA will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event in the THS parking lot from 6:00 to 7:30.
MADALYN:
If you are an advisor or a member of a group at THS and would like to participate in the event, please contact Mrs. Gregory.
ALEXIS:
Another event coming up soon is the YIT pickleball bash: fall tournament.
MADALYN:
This event will be held at the Tri Pickleball courts on October 30th from 4 to 6 p.m. The winning team will receive a prize.
ALEXIS:
Attention, students going on the DC trip. Be sure to be at the high school MONDAY morning by 5:15. Don’t be late.
MADALYN:
Additionally, parents should park in the student parking lot, not in the bus lot by the media center.
ALEXIS:
In other news, FFA is recognizing fall senior athletes.
MADALYN:

Tonight will be the football team’s last regular season game as they make the long trip up to Wooster, the game to begin at 7. Drive safe and good luck boys

And Cross Country will be participating in districts this saturday in hopes to advance to regionals.
