Diversity Club will meet today, after school, in Mrs. Schultze’s room, room 400.
WILL:
The meeting will include a special presentation from the local PFLAG chapter. Be there if you can.
DOM:
Okay…a final correction for the NHS meeting taking place next Wednesday, October 18th–it’s after school.
WILL:
Yep. SENIORS in NHS should plan to attend a meeting after school NEXT Wednesday, October 18th, in Ms. Klovekorn’s room, room 220. . Seniors, be sure to check Google Classroom for more important information.
DOM:
​​Okay Will, let’s try this again. Where in America are the Great Plains located?
WILL:
The Great Plains. Great Plains. Oh that one is easy, at the great airports.
DOM:
Wow. Have you been concussed recently?
WILL:
Uhhhhhh.
DOM:
Maybe my pal Will could be on the Middle School Academic team.

If you are interested in joining the high school team, the first practice is next Tuesday, right after school in room 420.
WILL:
That’s Schmid’s room–I know that one!
DOM:
Too bad that’s not an academic challenge question, Will.

As you all know, BRAVE day is coming up next week.
WILL:
That’s right. This year’s Brave Day dates are Thursday, October 19th, and Friday, October 20th.
DOM:
And, BRAVE Day is in need of senior helpers to make the day as exciting and impactful as possible. Talk to Z in room 301 to volunteer.
WILL:
And, teachers, this one is for you–BRAVE day needs family leader volunteers.
DOM:
Being a family leader is a great way to connect with students in our building in a way that goes beyond the classroom. Here with a bit more on Brave Day is science teacher, Mrs. Schran

And now, let’s go over to ADDI with Sports.
ADDI:
Last night, girls soccer successfully honored their seniors for their final home match ever but unfortunately the game did end with a 2-1 loss for the brave, goal was scored by Jaklyn Wynn.

Volleyball fell to Oak Hills in 3 close sets.

But on a brighter note Boys soccer was on the road to Eaton overcoming them 1-0 goal scored by Harrison Zhang

It’s the season for senior nights, Volleyball will be at home tonight at 7pm honoring their seniors and the theme is white out.

And if you remember, a little while back, Brianna introduced the Brave Field Hockey team, they will also have their senior night tonight vs walnut hills at the miami field hockey complex beginning at 6pm

Finally, Here’s a quick announcement for baseball players–Due to weather and work on field improvements, baseball open fields and weights will not meet the rest of October. Here with a bit more on that is baseball coach and star English teacher, Mr. Lykins
