Good morning Talawanda, today is Wednesday, May 17th, 2023.

Any student that will be attending Butler Tech next year MUST turn in their Chromebook to the media center before they leave for the summer. Also, if you are needing transportation, please check your email. You must complete the Google Form AND the transportation form from Mr. Phelps. Please see him in 519 if you have any questions.

The Talawanda Yearbook is still on sale, but supplies are going fast! Go to yearbookforever.com before May 30th to order yours before it’s too late! Alexa Lema tells us more.

Project Green is still in need of helpers for Marshall Elementary Field Day on Wednesday, May 24th. If you don’t have a 2nd period exam and / or are available in the afternoon, please consider signing up with Mrs. Ruther or Mrs. Schwegman.

Now here is Ellie Killy with today’s sports.

The Track team will compete in the District Meet at Ross this afternoon and Friday afternoon.

Track athletes – if your season is over, please turn in your uniforms to Coach Hobbs.

Talawanda baseball had a walk-off victory 3 to 2 last night over Western Brown in the first round of the State Tournament. Logan Smith and Noah Prewitt turned in gems on the mound for the Brave, and Logan Smith’s single in the 8th sealed the win. They play Princeton Friday in the second round. I caught up with Eddie Tanner to learn more about the win.
