Good morning Talawanda, today is Thursday, May 11th, 2023.

 

Students and Staff: If you are interested in working in the THS Natural Areas on Tuesday, the 16th, listen up! You will need to pick up a Liability Form form outside Mrs. Ruther’s room (224) and have it signed by a parent or guardian. Please meet outside the 200 hallway doors at 3pm that day, wearing long pants, boots/ old shoes, and work gloves (if you have them — we will have extras). See Mrs. Ruther if you have questions.

Jacob Berger now went to interview Cadence Morris about FFA and State officer elections.

Nominations for Department Awards are now posted outside of the school counseling office. Department Awards are held May 12th – during 2nd period for Seniors and 6th period for underclassmen. Invitations were also mailed home!

Softball’s season came to a close with a 9-1 loss to Hamilton. The team had 24 home runs on the season, Halee McDade and Kylie Cobb tied for the team lead with 6, Lilly Iden led the team in average, hits, stolen bases and triples, and McKenna Weekley threw the most innings with a team leading 95k’s.

Milo Flashpoler made it to the final 8 players of the Tennis Sectionals before falling to the number two seed, congrats on a great season.

JV Track has their SWOC tournament here after school tonight.
