Good morning Talawanda, today is Friday, May 5th, 2023.

Nominations for Department Awards are now posted outside of the school counseling office. Department Awards are held May 12th – during 2nd period for Seniors and 6th period for underclassmen. Invitations were also mailed home!

The yearbook is on sale at yearbookforever.com until May 30th. We will not have extras to buy in the fall, so you MUST get yours today if you want one! See Mr. Zimmerman if you have any questions.

Seniors – turn in your Chromebook, case, and charger on Thursday and Friday next week, May 11th and 12th.

The spirit store will be holding a design contest for next year’s T-shirts and sweatshirts. The rules are as follows: Must be original design, use only 3 colors, one side is preferred, the theme is school spirit, due by May 19th at 12:00 pm. You can submit your entry via email to schulzea@talawanda.org. The top design receives a t-shirt and sweatshirt of the new design. The top 5 can choose one item from the current stock at the Spirit Store.

TODAY is the last day for seniors to pay your fees with a check. Cap and gowns will be delivered next week on Tuesday during lunch.

Students attending Butler Tech next year are required to complete the Google Form Mr. Phelps sent to your THS email account. Please complete this by TODAY. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Phelps in 519.

Softball was defeated by Ross 13-3, Kylie Cobb finished the game with a home run and triple, the ladies play their last SWOC game of the year and their Senior night at home vs Edgewood, tonight at 5.

Tennis finished 3rd as a team at the SWOC tournament, their season isn’t over yet as they play Moeller at home tonight at 4.

Baseball heads to Ross after school for game two of their series, they’ll play their final SWOC game of the year tomorrow afternoon as well.
