Good morning Talawanda, today is Friday, March 10th, 2023.

There are a few parking spots available for purchase in the student parking lot. Anyone interested, see Mrs. Gingerich in the main office for the parking application.

Seniors – Applications for the Luke Richardson Memorial Scholarship are available in the School Counseling office. See Ms. Wise or your school counselor for more information.

Everyone is invited to join Best Buddies for our Best Buddies Sock Hop tonight from 7 to 9:30pm. The event will feature dancing in the gym, cookie decorating with FCCLA, a robot course with Robotics club, karaoke, bookmark water coloring with YIT, board games, and pizza and snacks! If you plan to attend, please use the cafeteria doors to enter!!! If you have questions, see Mrs. Sammons or Jordan Gresham!

The spring blood drive is Friday March 17th! If you donated blood in December please check your email for a message from Mrs. Gregory. If any student, 16 or older would like to donate please pick up a form in the office or room 611. Reserve your time when you turn your signed form in. Each student that donates 3 times during high school will receive red cords for graduation. Each donation saves 3 lives! Here’s some more information.

Our annual talent show is going to be held this year on Thursday April 6th!!! We would love to see all the talent that THS students and staff have. Please pick up a sign-up form outside the main office, room 611 or at the blood drive table at lunch. We need those turned in before spring break! The cost to attend the show will be $5 with all the proceeds going to Cincinnati Ronald McDonald House, tickets will be on sale the week we get back from spring break.

Diversity Club will NOT meet after school today. Instead, we will be attending the Best Buddies Soc Hop, OR supporting our drama club friends tonight!

Good Luck to Lucia Rodbro who is competing in the New Balance Indoor Nationals in Boston. She’ll be running the 2 mile, at 2pm.

We are less than one month away from Extreme Week here at Channel 85. Extreme week will be held the week of the talent show and some confirmed events that our teams will compete in are the Wendy’s 4 for 4 400 and Shifty’s Kitchen. All donations to Extreme Week will benefit the Oxford Family Resource Center.
