February 18-25 is National FFA Week. Our chapter kicked off celebrating National FFA Week by hosting a lock-in this past Saturday/Sunday. We had a great time going through leadership activities, a service project, yoga with Ms. Schran, enjoying a taco bar, viewing a talent show and playing some famous Ag Ball. Thank you to Mrs. Kolb, Mrs. Weekley and our FFA Alumni for chaperoning the lockin.

Today is drive your tractor to school day as well as to wear your favorite Ag apparel! Tomorrow is flannel day – so wear your coziest flannel to school. FFA members will also be completing service projects throughout the day!

Here is a quick video from our Chapter Sentinel, Abbey Garland, about safety around farm equipment:

In case you haven’t heard, our girls basketball team is pretty good. Your undefeated Talawanda girls basketball team will play tonight against Mount Notre Dame at Lakota East High School at 6pm tonight. They need a huge crowd, so show up for a chance to see Talawanda history.

That’s all the sports for today, but in honor of presidents day, I went around the school and asked some presidential questions.
