Now for Zander with Moore sports.

Lots of action over the weekend, lets kick things off on Friday where the swim & dive teams hosted Brookville and Hagerstown, Indiana for a tri-meet.  Both the girls and boys teams came away with sweeps when all of the action had concluded.  Leading the way for the Brave were Anna Gregg, Kaylyn Macechko, Abbie Curry, Anna Abbitt, Maren Patterson, Noah Femiani, Julio Fuentes, and Adam Hunt, all of whom picked up at least one individual event win.

Later on that night, Boys Basketball took on Harrison for a conference match, the boys won 59-47 on the back of Isaiah Meade-Moss who had a season high 23 points and a buzzer beating triple at half which really set the tone for the second half. The boys move to 9-5 overall and sit one game back of Ross for first in the SWOC.

Indoor Track was had a successful meet at Mount Saint Joseph, Logan Howard and Lucia Rodbro headlined setting new school records, while Henry Hoblitzell won the pole vault and ranks 6th in the state.

Moving to Saturday, Girls Basketball led by Taylor Farris’ 25 points defeated Harrison 61-54, Kylee Fears also put up a 16 point double-double in the win, and the girls have all but secured the SWOC title for a second straight year.

Only one home game tonight and its girls basketball senior night, they’ll be taking on Eaton at 7:30 here at the gym, the game will be streamed live, here on Channel 85 if you can’t make it.

Thats all of the sports for today, but we have another feature from Evan Messner who decided to rank the ways to become immortal
