Off season workouts start today for football players not participating in a winter sport. Be in the weight room right after school, we will be done by 4:15.
Congratulations to THS’s Mock Trial teams for their outstanding performances at the University of Cincinnati’s High School Mock Invitational on 1/8/23. THS Team On the Docket took second place in the tournament with Senior Shr-Shiang Moore winning both an Outstanding Witness and Outstanding Attorney Award and senior Kate Bolenbaugh winning an Outstanding Witness Award. THS Team Plead the Fifth had Shr-Lin Moore (9th) and Jared Sims (9th) win Outstanding Witness Awards.
Last semester, Project Green Club helped with the campaign for recycling, worked in the THS garden, and created a Geocache Adventure Trail for Marshall Elementary that we got to guide 5th-graders through. We would love to have YOU join us this semester for more meaningful, environment-based activities. Project Green meets every Tuesday after school in Mrs. Ruther’s room (224). All are welcome!”

Attention Setting Stone members: our weekly meeting is changing days! Setting Stone will meet on THURSDAYS, right after school in room 320 (Aerni’s room). Our first meeting of the semester will be this Thursday, January 12th. We hope to see you there.

Boys Basketball defeated Mt. Healthy 56-44 for their second conference win of the season improving their overall record to 7-3, the boys will be back in action tomorrow.
Also taking a W over the weekend was the Girls team, they took out Harrison 63-34, Kylee Fears and Taylor Farris lead the way, both of them collecting 16 points in the victory. The girls stay undefeated, they sit 5-0 in SWOC play and 11-0 overall.
This weekend the wrestling team competed in the Valley View Invitational. Will Tanner placed 6th at 157 pounds, Caleb Dilhoff placed 6th at 175, Colton Back placed 5th at 120 , Gavin Boner finished 2nd at 113 and Sammy Dillon finished 2nd at 150.
This week the team has a busy schedule. On Thursday they will have a senior night at the Middle School vs. Northwest, On Friday they will compete in the In-School Dual against Middletown, and on Saturday they will travel to the Sycamore invitational.
Indoor Track competed at Wittenberg on Saturday, the girls 4×800 finished 2nd and broke the indoor school record. Henry Hoblitzell won the Pole vault, Lucia Rodbro broke the school record in the 1600, and Hailey O’Brian finished 3rd in high jump.
No home games tonight but Bowling will head to Harrison looking to bounce back from a defeat to the hands of Ross.
