Good morning Talawanda, today is Monday, September 12th, 2022.
This week is Spirit Week at Talawanda, and CLASS WARS are back! Each day Seniors through Freshman will be competing for points by dressing up, donating during lunch for penny wars, and in the Class relays during the pep rally on Friday. Will the seniors continue the winning streak? OR will the Freshman finally pull off the upset? English teachers will be keeping the tally, so make sure you dress up next week to show your spirit! Tomorrow is Twin day, Wednesday is Pajama Day, Thursday is Jersey Day, and Friday is Class Color day with Seniors in Black, Juniors in White, Sophomores in Blue, and Freshmen in Red. Looking good in those Minon outfits today Talawanda.
There are Penny War jars at lunch for each class. Pennies are positive points, and all other money is negative. The class with the highest point total at the end of the week will be declared the winner and get points towards the Class War. Seniors already have a $20 bill in their jar, so it is anyone’s game at this point.
We will be keeping the scoreboard up to date on the news, so make sure you tune in to see how your class is stacking up.
