The homecoming theme voting is now availablel! Cheack Google Classrooms to vote or ask your teachers for the Website. Students are only able to vote using their Talawanda emails and may only vote once. Voting will end Monday at 2pm.
Attention NHS seniors: We’ll meet after school next Tuesday, August 30th, in Ms. Alfonsi’s room. Please see our Google Classroom for details if you have to miss the meeting.

Attention students! Voila, the world launguage club at talawanda high school will have its first meeting of the year after school on Thursday September 1st to greet new members and introduce our leadership team. We will be discussing our first items to collect and donate, possible volunteer opportuinitys , as well as starting to plan for Culture Day at THS this spring. We’d like to get some club t-shirts, so if you are feeling extra creative, bring an original design to share during the meeting! The meeting will be in Mrs. Lefevers room (118) right after school. If you are interested in joining, stop by the meeting on Thursday, September 1st, we will have some applications available.
Interested in art? writing? music? graphic design? Then, Setting Stone might be for you! Setting Stone is a club at Talawanda that develops and designs its own literary-art magazine using work from Talawanda students, and also hosts a live-music event called the Coffee House three times a year. If you are interested in being a part of this group, we would love to have you join us for our first meeting of the year. We will meet on Monday, August 29th—right after school in Mr. Aerni’s room—#320.

The soccer teams both took losses to Colerain yesterday, the boys by a score of 6-1, the girls 5-0, Logan Kent scored the only goal of the night for the Brave, and both teams will have the weekend off.
Girls Tennis took their 3rd Win in a row last night— this time beating Edgewood 4-1, that’s their first conference win on the season and their 4th overall.
Girls golf lost a close one to Middletown yesterday, 229 to 230, medalist for the lady brave was Keylee Goerss who shot a 47. The girls will be back on the course Monday.
Looking to bounce back after a week 1 defeat the football team is hosting Reading tonight at 7 o’clock. The theme for the game is a USA out and tailgates will begin at around 6pm, make sure to show up and support the boys as they will be on the road for the next couple weeks.
