Setting Stone is a club at Talawanda that develops and designs its own literary-art magazine using work from Talawanda students, and also hosts a live-music event called the Coffee House three times a year. If you are interested in being a part of this group, we would love to have you join us for our first meeting of the year. We will meet on Monday, August 29th—right after school in Mr. Aerni’s room—#320.

The Volleyball team took their first loss of the season last night against Eaton being defeated in 4 sets. They will get ready for a non-conference matchup at home Monday, against Fairfield.
The Girls Golf team won their first match of the season defeating Edgewood 234 to 244, the medallist last night for the Lady Brave was Keylee Goerss who shot a 45, while Kayla Bennet, Kylee Fears, and Shemari Green all shot personal bests, the girls will be back in action tomorrow against Middletown.
The first boys basketball open gym will be a week from now, next Thursday the 1st, from 3:00 to 4:30. If you are interested in playing boys basketball this year make sure to head over.
The soccer teams are facing Colerain tonight, the boys will be at home at 7 o’clock the theme for the game is a pink out, while the ladies head will take on the Cardinals on the road.
Girls tennis will also be at home tonight coming off of back to back dominant wins, they’ll look to continue their roll against Edgewood at 4.
