Good morning Talawanda, today is Thursday, December 9th, 2021.

There will be no FCA meeting next week or over break, and we will reconvene on Wednesday, January 5th like normal.

In honor of exam week and the end of the semester, Monday will be Pajama day at THS.  Wear your most comfy PJs to school, bonus points if they are holiday jammies.  Bonus bonus points if you match with someone else.  Yearbook will be taking pictures of the best jammies, this is a great way to get in the book.

Exams are next week.  For real this time, no more zoom exams or cheating off your friends from home.  To ease us into this transition, Caleb and Logan tried to get you some answers to exam questions in a few of your classes….

Diversity Club will be having a holiday party after school on Friday, December 10th in room 221 from 3:00 until 4:15. All teachers and staff are invited to celebrate, have snacks, and create winter-themed crafts with us!  

The FFA Advanced Parliamentary Procedure Contest team has qualified for the State Contest after placing 1st overall at the district level! This is an exciting and impressive achievement for the 7 students on this team! We will travel to Columbus on Dec.18th to compete!

We would love to invite you all to watch a brief practice demonstration on Thursday 12/16 after exams at 11:30am in the PAC so you can see these students in action and wish them luck at the state contest!

The girls basketball team eeked out a big conference win on the road last night at Edgewood 61-57, congrats to junior Kylee Fears who is now Talawanda’s all time rebounding leader, the girls team will host Preble Shawnee on Monday.
