Good morning Talawanda, today is Monday, October 25th, 2021.

Attention ALL NHS members: Our first whole-chapter meeting will be after school today in the PAC.  See you there!

This week at Channel 85 we decided to tell spooky stories from around the school, our first segment is Night of the Living Duck.

Now for Whats the T followed by sports with not Luke WP.

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams for qualifying for the regional meets next Saturday at Troy.  Kiefer Bell won the entire district meet with a time of 15:20, which breaks his own school record.  Hannah Lippincott got eighth in her race with a 19:01, and Logan Murray finished 9th in his with a 16:11.  Lucia Rodbro also would have qualified individually over the weekend.  Best of luck to both teams next weekend in Troy!

The boys soccer team lost on Saturday to the number 2 team in the state Mason by a score of 3-0.  They finish the season at 10-5-1, good enough for second place in the SWOC.  Congrats on a great season boys.

The varsity football team picked up a win on Friday by a score of 30 to 6 over Northwest.  Deondre Bothast-Revalee tallied 376 yards rushing to bring him over 1000 yards for the season.  Da’quan Roberson also scored his first ever touchdown, and DJ Morris Williams added another to close out the scoring for the Brave.  This brings them to 2-7 on the season and officially knocks Northwest out the playoffs.  Great job varsity football.

That’s our broadcast for today, I’m Livvy Rhoton thanks for watching.
