Now for Teacher of the Week followed by sports with Luke West Poley

The softball team had their postseason ended last night in the sectional tournament by way of Fairfield, 6-5 was the final, they fall to 15-11 on the year with one more game on the schedule at Eaton on Friday.

The baseball team had a standout performance last night on the road in a 4-0 rout of La Salle, Blake Puckett went 3-3 at the plate and Parker Geshan pitched a 3 hit complete game, the team improves to 14-8 on the year with 3 games to go in the regular season starting with a trip to Mount Healthy tonight.

The tennis team fell to Loveland 5-0 last night, the team falls to 12-5 overall and will play at La Salle tonight.

Juniors Kiefer Bell and Parker Geshan are up for athlete of the week this week, also the softball team is up for team of the week you can vote for all of them on Cincinnati.com’s high school sports page.

Home games today: none, but good luck to the tennis, lacrosse, and baseball teams who will all hit the road for regular season action tonight and good luck to the track teams who will compete at the SWOC championships at Harrison.
