Would you like to help a new student adapt to THS?  We are bringing back the ambassador program to match current students with new students.  Applications are available in the counseling office or online on the counseling website.

And now for a quick word from Best Buddies

Oxford Community Parks is looking for volunteers to help with their annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday April 3rd.  Volunteers would need to arrive by 9 and would be done by noon.  If you are interested reach out to Ryan Himes (rhimes@cityofoxford.org) and Emily Sollenberger (esollenberger@cityofoxford.org).  

FCCLA will be hosting the spring Blood Drive to be held on Friday April 16th, 7:30-11:30.  You must be 16 years old to donate. Pick up forms from the office, room 611, outside room 611 and at lunch.

Welcome back kids and coaches, happy opening day 2021.

The bracket challenge placers remained unchanged as we head into the final four Brayden Shiflett and Caleb Bogseth are still holding onto their first and second place positions.

The baseball team knocked off Monroe to improve to 2-0 on the year, Parker Geshan had 2 RBI and the win on the hill for the Brave, Niko Amarantos is tied with him for the SWOC lead in RBI as well he had 1 in the game on Tueday night.

The softball team run ruled Colerain on Tuesday, 19-2 was the final with the Brave coming out on top Mckenna Weekley pitched a a complete game and Rachel Dsuban went yard on the offensive side, the Brave improve to 3-1 on the year.

The lacrosse team blew out Franklin last night, scoring 18 goals and conceding just 2, Nick Engelhard, Brendan Bohon and Grady Holmes all put 4 on the board for the Brave in the winning effort, the lacrosse team is now 4-1 on the season.

The tennis team kept their undefeated streak going with a 5-0 sweep against Colerain last night, their next match tonight against St. Xavier B.

The track teams hosted a tri on Tuesday with Northwest and Eaton, there were many victories on the track, including a sweep of all distance events on the girls side and wins in the 1600 and 400 on the boys, in the field the Brave took home many wins as well with sweeps of the pole vault, high jump, and triple jump wins came on the girls side in both throwing events as well, the Brave were initially scheduled to race today, but that has been cancelled due to weather and will not be rescheduled, their next meet will come at home on Tuesday.

Home games this weekend: the softball team will host 3 games, beginning with a 5pm start against Finneytown tonight, and a doubleheader versus Monroe starting tomorrow at 10, the baseball team will host Goshen tomorrow and Milford on Saturday after a trip to Batavia today, tomorrow’s game will start at 5 and Saturday has first pitch set for 1.
