March 5th, 2020

Good Morning Talawanda. Today is Thursday, March 5th, 2020.

A Jostens representative will be here on Monday, the 9th, during lunch, to hand out Graduation Announcement orders.

The talent show this year will be Friday March 20th, if you are interested in showcasing your talent please pick up a form in the office or outside room 611.  You may turn them in to Mrs. Gregory or any of the co-chairs listed on the form.   This is a great way to showcase your talent and help others, as all the money will be donated to local charities.

Congratulations to Lucy Wang, Piper Muhlhauser, Heather Kuckuck, Hunter Hoefker, and Justin Beckner. These five competed yesterday in the Rotary 4-Way Test speech competition. Students had to deliver a memorized, 4 to 6 minute speech to the Rotary Club members. Justin Beckner won the competition with his speech on food waste and will compete at the district level later this month. Congratulate all five students for the hard work and amazing speeches!

Best Buddies’ Week of Inclusion concludes tomorrow with a school spirit/Best Buddies spirit day. Wear your favorite Talawanda Spirit wear or Best Buddies shirt to support inclusion. Also, don’t forget, Friday night is the spring social from 6:30-8:30pm in the gym.
