Good Morning Talawanda. Today is Tuesday, November 19th, 2019

Talawanda’s Key club will be hosting a Smash Brothers tournament for charity on November 26th in room 301 from 3 to 6. The cost will be 5 dollars up front on the day of the tournament. Participants should sign up on the sheet outside of room 301.  Anyone is welcome to join.  A cash prize will be awarded to the winner.  For further details, ask Eli Walter, Kyle Hoefker, or Shr-Hua Moore

The School Counseling staff will be offering an informational CCP meeting on December 5 at 5:30 pm in the PAC.  This meeting will provide an overview of the program, how to apply and the deadlines.  Representatives from local universities will be in attendance to provide college specific information. Immediately following this meeting, there will be an informational session regarding the I.T. program that THS offers in conjunction with the University of Cincinnati.

Now for todays birthdays, Mohsin Chheena turns 14, Juliana Carrero turns 15, Ellie Garland turns 16, Jacob Robinson and Cooper Marks turn 18. Happy Birthday.

Students interested in traveling with Ms Mann and Mr Tincher in 2021 should attend the informational meeting on Thursday, December 5, from 7:00-7:45 in room 319. This is directly after parent/teacher conferences. Parents, grandparents, guardians please attend, too! 

Attention National Honor Society members:  We will have a full membership meeting after school this Thursday above the Media Center.  See you there!

Congratulations to Mary Kate Huddleston, Deidre Payne, John Anzano, and Ben Crowder as last night they were selected by their peers to be captains of the Talawanda Swim and Dive team for the 2019-2020 season.  This season the Brave swimmers and divers will be looking to capture their 14th straight league championship.  How’s that for a dynasty?  The swim & dive season will kick off December 17th at the Miami Rec Center as Talawanda hosts Butler and Wayne high schools in a tri-meet.

This Friday the Brave basketball team will be hosting Brave Madness with scrimmages from every team from 7th grade all the way up to the Varsity night cap it will run from 6:30-8:30 tickets will be $4 all proceeds will support the Boys Basketball program.
