The Talawanda Marching Band had a great final weekend of their season. First they were at the football game on Friday. The band would like to thank the football team, cheerleaders, and student section for a fantastic season.  We were all successful and all had a great time. On Saturday the band traveled to West Clermont High School where they competed in the cold weather.  The band had their best performance of the year.  A special shout out goes to the percussion section.  After a lot of hard work, and a series of respectable second place finishes, they won best percussion in their class.  Great job! In other music department news this Wednesday the bands will hold their annual chili supper,  The event features a chili supper and performances by the Talawanda Jazz Band, the Talawanda Steel Band and the Miami University Steel Band Too.  Donations are welcome and the performances are free.  We hope to see you there.
