The lists are now posted outside the Counseling Office for those who have qualified for the 1st quarter honor roll recognition. It will be held Thursday, October 31st. Ninth and tenth grades will go 2nd period and eleventh and twelfth grades will go 3rd period.

Last call for blood donors –  ALL forms are needed by end of the day on Tuesday – please turn in to the office or room 611.

Attention members of Voila and The Red Cross Club, t-shirt forms are due today, so get them in now.

This is the final week to sign up for the November 8th Setting Stone Coffee House! Sign up to perform outside Mr. Aerni’s room, 320.

Attention Setting Stone members: if you placed an order for a Setting Stone shirt: please have your money to Mr. Aerni today. There is also a meeting today after school to plan the coffee house.

Voila is sponsoring SOCKTOBER again.  Please consider donating a pair of new socks, any type & any size.  The socks will be given away with a new pair of shoes.  Please bring the socks to Room 118!

Key club is going to be selling pins every day at lunch until October ends for $1 apiece, although you can donate more.  All profits will go to the Thirst Project, an organization that provides clean drinking water to impoverished nations in Africa.  Buy a pin and help save lives today.

Now for todays birthdays, Trevor Burdine and Jake Lenos turn 17 and Julia Rode turns 15. Happy Birthday.

Freshmen: Our class fundraiser is wrapping up this week. Please submit your orders to Mrs. Sammons in Room 316 or the main office by this Friday. The first ten people to submit orders this week will receive candy. Get those orders in and listen to announcements for other fun prizes this

week!

On Wednesday morning one of our fellow students, Michael Schwab, was one of the first on the scene out at the wreck on 732. Michael helped and freed a man from his van aswell. All of this and getting to class on time, thanks Michael!

And now for Whats the T and Luke WP

The football team defeated Northwest on Friday night by a 42-12 score Deondre Bothast-Revalee and Terrell Wills each had 2 touchdowns and Dalton Norris had a hashtag scoop and score in the dominating win for the Brave they are now 7-2 on the year and close out their regular season this Friday at home versus Ross.

Congratulations to Kiefer Bell for qualifying to the State Cross Country Meet!  The meet will be held on Saturday at 3:00 on the National Trail Raceway course in Hebron, Ohio.  Kiefer finished in 9th place in the windy and muddy conditions.  The boys team ran well to beat their seeded position.  With five underclassmen out of the 7 runners, they hope to return next season.  The girls team had their highest finish at a Regional Meet since 1988.  The team improved by 5 places from last year to finish in 6th place out of 17 teams.  The girls finished the season as the 8th ranked team in the State of Ohio.  Good luck to Kiefer on Saturday. 

Powderpuff rules meeting will be tomorrow.

And anyone who is interested in playing basketball for the Brave this year the tryout schedule will be this Friday, 9th graders from 2:45 to 4:45 and 10-12th from 4-6, and Saturday everyone will tryout from 9-11:30 am football players will tryout the next Wednesday and Thursday after their season is over, all players must have a physical on file and their Final Forms filled out, sign ups will be in the athletic office.
