Anyone interested in playing baseball for Talawanda in the spring needs to report to room 413 for a meeting about fall workouts on Tuesday, September 3rd @ 2:30 PM.

Any students interested in science related to nature or the environment are welcome to attend an Open House in room 224 (Mrs. Ruther’s room) on Wednesday, August 28th at 1:35pm. Come see what the Environment and Natural Sciences Club is all about!

NHS seniors: We will meet in Ms. Alfonsi’s room tomorrow on Thursday, August 29 right after school.  Please check your email for information regarding officer elections.

This year,  The World Language Club (Voila) is partnering with The American Red Cross.  If you are interested in learning more, plan to attend the Informational Open House on Tuesday, Sept. 10 – immediately after school in Room 118.

Attention all students interested in participating in Model UN this year, there is an informational meeting about this year’s program tomorrow on August 29th in Mr McGhehey’s room, room 411, from 2:30 to 3:15.  Informational sheets and sign-ups for countries are located outside room 411 and are first-come-first-serve.  For additional information contact Mr McGhehey, Benjamin Farmer or Rian DelVecchio.

As you all know by now, the class elections are over.  In order to remain neutral, we here at Brave Daily News denied several campaign ads that were sent to us.  Trenton Young, your new Senior class president, has issued a presidential decree that his video MUST be shown today.  Here it is, enjoy….

And now for Whats the T and Luke WP

The Talawanda boys golf team defeated Ross last night 165 to 173.  The Brave remain undefeated in SWOC play with a 4-0 record and improved their overall record to 5 -1.  Medalist for the Brave was Charlie Faler who posted a one under par 35 at the Hueston Woods course.

In other action the JV Brave golf team improved to 5-0 on the season with a 191 – 235 victory over the Ross Rams.  Medalist for the Brave was Owen Sweitzer with a round of 44.

The varsity boys are back in action tonight against Eaton at Hueston Woods.

Last night the girls Tennis Team fell to Harrison in a close 3-2 match. They fall to 3-6 on the season and they play next tomorrow versus Little Miami.

The girls soccer team suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of Colerain by a 3-2 score they fall to 2-1 on the year. Their next game is tomorrow at Little Miami.

The boys soccer team also fell to Colerain last night by a 3-1 score they fall to 0-2 on the season, their next game is tomorrow versus Little Miami.

And finally the girls volleyball teams all defeated Hamilton, the varsity squad doing so in 4 sets, they improve to 1-3 on the year and their next match is tomorrow against Little Miami.

Home games for today: Boys and Girls Golf both host Eaton at 4.
