The St. Louis Blues have moved on after a double overtime victory over Dallas last night, and in the NBA Playoffs the Nuggets took a 3-2 lead in their series and the Raptors did the same.

The Baseball team played Monday and Tuesday this week, on Monday they went to Franklin and defeated them 9-1, Mason Hansford and Freshman Parker Geshan shared the mound with a scattered 5 hits and Brecken Hornsby had three hits with a double and triple on the day. Yesterday they played Ross losing 3-1 despite great pitching by Sam Steiby and Luke Saurber. The team continues tonight against Northwest at home at 5:00

Congratulations to the track and field team last night at the SWOC Championship. The boys earned 3rd and had outstanding performances across all events. David Kraushar was named male runner of the year. The girls dominated and not only captured the title, but one ever single open race except one. Congratulations to Megan Minnellie for a new meet record in the pole vault, Hannah Lippincott for setting a new meet record in the 1600,  and Maddy Iden who broke her own meet record in the 3200. And overall Kyra Koontz was named female runner of the year, winning all 4 events she was in and breaking her own school record in the 100m dash. What an outstanding night. Next week is the district meet and hopefully the path to State for many of our runners, jumpers, and throwers.

Home games for today: Boys Varsity Baseball hosts Northwest at 5, and we wish luck to the Tennis teams who are beginning their run in the State Tournament today. Action began at 8 this morning.

And that’s our broadcast on this Tuesday. I’m still not Patrick Geshan. Thanks so much for watching, and we’ll see you tomorrow.
