This week is MORP week:

Today is jersey day, and tomorrow will be space day

Jostens will be at THS May 6th during lunch to hand out caps and gowns!

Seniors – Please be sure to fill out the Senior Scholarship Summary form now available in the guidance office, it has also been sent in the senior mailing you will be receiving this week.

Please list any and all scholarships and grants you have been offered – not just the ones you are accepting.  Those will be listed with your name in the Graduation Commencement Booklet.  Please also let us know the amount of each scholarship or grant and if it renewable or a one time award.  The monetary information is kept private, we only use that to get a total count of how much our senior class has been offered.  We need these turned in to Mrs. Roy by next Monday, May 6.

See Mrs.  Roy in the Guidance Office with any questions.

THS Students, we need your spring break pics for yearbook! Please send your those to yearbook@talawanda.org or send them trough DM to @talawandayb on instagram

And now for Teacher of the Week

And now for whats the T and Patty G

The Carolina Hurricanes are just one win away from advancing to the Eastern Conference Final after last nights win over the New York Islanders. Dallas also beat St. Louis in the other NHL game last night to tie the series at 2. In the NBA, Portland knocked off Denver to tie that series at 1.

Well the top story in Talawanda sports today is the men’s tennis team has won their third straight conference championship and 4th in the past 5 years. Pete Thomas was named Boys Tennis Coach of the Year for 2019, with the entire team chipping in for the title. So congrats to the boys tennis team with the big conference tourney win yesterday.

Well the Baseball and Softball teams both began play last night, but each game was suspended because of rain.  The baseball game against Ross was scoreless through a third of an inning, and the softball team was down 2-0 at their stoppage. Both games will be resumed at a later date.

Home games for today: Boys JV Tennis hosts Elder at 4, Girls JV Softball has Eaton at 5, and Varsity Baseball hosts Northwest at 5.

And that’s our broadcast on this Thursday. I’m Patrick Geshan. We’ll finish today with a look at what happened yesterday during the SWOC combine at THS. Thanks for watching, and have a great day.
