And now for Student of the Week

And now for whats the T and Patty G

The St. Louis Blues took a 2-1 series lead over the Dallas Stars in the West last night with Patrick Maroon’s last second goal in the third period. That was the only NHL game last night, in the NBA the Raptors, Nuggets, and Trail Blazers all picked up wins in game 2.

Well it was a wild night for the softball team who overcame a 3 run deficit on the road last night in the 7th inning against Ross to pick up their 7th straight win. Ashley Earick had the game winning hit with a 2 RBI single for Talawanda to take the go-ahead lead. Maggie Pierce was the player of the game with a double and an RBI. The softball team’s record improves to 12-10 overall and 6-5 in the conference. The JV softball team also picked up a win against Ross by coming back from a 6 run deficit in the 7th. So a resilient softball team last night congratulations to all of them.

The baseball team lost to Ross last night by a 4-1 score on the road. They fall to 9-11 overall and 4-5 in the SWOC. And we are thinking of Matthew Bowling today who is in hospital after getting hit in the face with a ball — so Matthew from all of us here at THS get well soon.

The men’s tennis team beat Preble Shawnee 5-0 at home yesterday to improve to 12-5 overall on the year.

Home games for today:  Boys JV Baseball hosts Goshen at 5.

A note to all Field Hockey players and those wishing to join the Fantastic Lady Brave: There will be an informational meeting today during tutorial in room 212 (Mrs. McCartney’s room). Coach Holmes will have important summer training information as well as camp dates. Again, that was today during tutorial in Mrs. McCartney’s room.

And that’s our broadcast on this Tuesday. I’m Patrick Geshan. Thanks so much for watching and have a great day.
