If you donate blood 3 times during high school you will receive red cords for graduation.  For every person who donates blood, you save 3 lives, what a great way to give to those in need!

And now for Dodgeball Interviews

Birthdays for today: Dakota Keifer turns 19, Kaitlyn Welch and Jourdan Sharp-Schmidt turn 16, and Jasper Young turns 15

And now for What’s The T and Patty G

Last night, the softball team scrimmaged Kentucky school St. Henry, with Varsity playing the first 4 innings and JV playing the last 4. Talawanda had a good performance in a tune-up before the regular season.    The baseball team heads to Preble Shawnee tonight for their final scrimmage.

In March Madness Tuesday, Fairleigh Dickinson earned their first tournament win over Prarie View to move on to play Duke in First Round action Thursday, and Belmont knocked off Temple to advance into the bracket as well. Tonight in Dayton, the First Four wraps up with a pair of games: Arizona State takes on St. Johns at 6:40 and NC Central plays North Dakota State.

Yesterday, the decision was finalized by Miami University to make a change in the leadership of its hockey program.  Rico Blasi has been relieved of his duties as head coach. Rico is my godfather, a lifelong family friend, and ranks highly on the list of the most generous and caring people I know. It’s an emotional and uncertain time for many families today in Oxford, including mine.  The positive support received in the past 24 hours has been strongly appreciated.

And that’s our broadcast on this Wednesday. We’ll leave you with the NHS Volleyball Promo for the tournament happening this Friday. I’m Patrick Geshan. Thanks so much for watching, and have a great early-day!
