Good Morning Talawanda. Today is Monday, March 11th, 2019

Best Buddies members: our March meeting has been changed. We will NOT meet this Tuesday, but instead, will meet next Tuesday, March 19 after school until 3pm. Please see Mrs. Sammons for a list of important March dates (there a lot of them) or if you want to be on our club’s dodgeball team!

The Environment and Natural Sciences Club will meet right after school on Tuesday, March 12th in Mrs. Ruther’s room (224). If you cannot attend, please complete the form in Google Classroom. All are welcome!

Attention Setting Stone: we will not meet on Monday, March 11th. Instead, we will meet again as a whole group on Monday, March 18. Please plan on attending on the 18th to begin planning out the magazine.

YIT is sponsoring “Dodge and Dance” on Friday, March 15th!  Make sure you get a team together or come to cheer on the Dodgeball teams and then stay for FREE food and a great sock hop! There is no cost for either event.

Are you interested in the IT field?  The University of Cincinnati is hosting a free 3-week intensive summer IT camp called IT LanunchPad Summer Camp  It will give students a solid foundation in computer fundamentals, software development, cyber security, database and networking.  The camp is hands-on, project-based, team-oriented learning experience using UC’s state of the art equipment and instructors.  This camp is completely free.  Applications are due March 31.  See Mrs. Stark in Guidance to apply.

The Butler County Retired Teachers Association scholarship deadline is approaching. This 1,000 dollar scholarship is available to any student planning to major in Education. Applications can be picked up in the guidance office.
