The Talawanda Inclusive Spring Social sponsored by Best Buddies is coming up on Friday, March 1. If you are interested in planning this event, please plan to attend an informational meeting Today, in Room 316. All student government officers are expected to be involved and attend the meeting today. This is a free, inclusive event and a great opportunity for service hours right here at THS!

The deadline for applying to Honors, AP, and other classes requiring an application has been extended to the end of the day today. Make sure you turn your papers into your counselor before you leave school today.

Any students interested in being part of the Environment and Natural Science Club are welcomed to meet in Mrs. Ruther’s room (224) after school today.

YIT members will meet tomorrow after school in the staff cafeteria

The FCCLA Chapter is selling Valograms for $4 to benefit service projects in the community, the items can be purchased at lunch, and will be delivered on February 14th!

Prom season is just around the corner, Cinderella’s Closet provides formal wear to high school girls who need assistance in getting ready to attend their junior or senior prom. If you are interested in free prom wear, please see Ashley Workman or your school counselor in the guidance office.

The next Setting Stone Coffee House will be held on Friday, February 22nd. If you are interested in performing, the sign-up sheet has been posted outside of Mr. Aerni’s room (320). Sign up today!

The girl’s basketball team lost to Goshen last night by a score of 49-32 at home. Sophie Pohlabel and Jazz Bennett led the Brave with 8 points each.   The girl’s record falls to 1-19 overall. They have two games left: Wednesday night vs Northwest and Senior Day on Saturday vs. Ross where students will get in free.

The Men’s Tennis meeting has been moved to this Thursday after school in room 310 for anyone interested in playing tennis this spring.

And we wish the boy’s basketball team best of luck tonight in their road game against Edgewood. Varsity tip is at 7:30.
